Measure your room (length x width) to calculate total square footage.

Because not all rooms are created equal, be sure to measure length and width in a minimum of three areas in the room. Use the largest measurement.

• Ex: 12' x 10' = 120 square feet

Multiple the total square footage by 15% to determine how much additional flooring to order for installation waste.

• Ex: 120 x .15 = 18

Add the total square footage to the waste calculation to determine total material required for your space.

• Ex: 120 + 18 = 138

Divide the square footage total by 25.7 (square feet per box)

• Ex: 138 / 25.7 = 5.37

Round up the final calculation to arrive at the total boxes to order.

• Ex: 5.37 > 6 boxes of flooring
